BLESS Opportunities

LOCAL BLESS

At Wellspring, we believe that God has called us to be a blessing in His world. Below are organizations we regularly partner with. We'd love for you to check them out and bless the world with us. To get involved with any of these organizations, please contact April Aleman at localbless@wellspringchurchpg.org.

Intervarsity Christian Fellowship

Each week college students gather at Monterey Peninsula College to explore the life of Jesus in the Bible. If you have a heart for college students, check out the Monterey chapter of Intervarsity.

Faith First

Faith First aims to connect urban and suburban churches throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. By pairing sister churches of different ethnic and/or socioeconomic makeups, congregations engage in fellowship, learn from one another, and build ongoing relationships.

The Bridge

The Bridge Restoration Ministry is a local Christian residential housing program helping people to be free from the bondage of sin. Be a mentor to one of the residents in the Bridge program.

I-H

I - HELP

Twice a month, Wellspring provides housing and dinner for men who would otherwise be sleeping on the street through a local non-profit called I-HELP. You can be a blessing by helping to provide a meal for the men.

Nancy’s Project

Nancy’s Project is a local non-profit helping those in need with material goods such as food and clothing. Donation bins are located in Wellspring’s main building.

Current Needs: New and gently used clothing (no red, please), new school shoes (up to size 10 for women, 12 for men), new underwear and socks (boys, girls, men, and women), hooded sweatshirts, warm jackets, blankets and sleeping bags, household items (such as linens and kitchenware), new disposable diapers, new feminine hygiene products, new laptops or tablets

GLOBAL BLESS

Missions are one of the many ways that Wellspring Church shares the love of Jesus around the world.

We support the Hunts, former members of Wellspring, as they work in church planting and refugee ministry in France. The Hunt Family serves the marginalized through a multicultural church plant and its community center and refugee ministry, discipling others, teaching language classes, providing medical advocacy, and more. If you would like more information, please contact us directly.

We support the Strutner Family, currently on medical missions in Kenya, providing much-needed medical aid and training for the next generation of doctors in Kenya. You can sign up for their newsletter, read their latest blog posts, and sign up to give all from their website.
