BLESS Opportunities

Local Bless

Below are organizations we regularly partner with. We'd love for you to check them out and bless the world with us. For more information or for ways to get involved, please contact April Aleman at localbless@wellspringchurchpg.org.

  • Faith First was created to help local churches unite and be a leading voice of change, addressing division, and building unity within our society. They produce videos and podcasts on a variety of church related issues.  This ministry does occasional community service projects.

  • Intervarsity Christian Fellowship is an national organization dedicated to working with college students and welcoming them into caring, diverse communities where they can build friendships and explore the Christian faith within a marketplace of ideas.

Depending where you live in the Monterey area, there are several chapters that need volunteers. Volunteers can co-lead Bible Studies with college students, meet one to one with students for discipleship, go to the lunchtime meeting areas for outreach with many organizations.

  • The Bridge is a residential setting for those men and women struggling with addictions; providing safety, structure, discipleship, and supervision for the purpose of restoring each back to God, family, work and community.

There is a Monday night Bridge service at Calvary Church where volunteers go to learn about the ministry.

Some volunteers mentor program residents during the week or after the service.

  • Nancy’s project’s mission is to collect basic living necessities for farm labor workers and their families living and working in Monterey County. Church members bring gently used clothing, toys, etc to the church and volunteers transport the items to the NP storage area.  Volunteers also go to local supermarkets to collect donated food by loading the van for transport.

There are other special projects during the year like School Shoes Giveaway, backpacks and school supplies given to children, Diaper Drive etc.

  • Twice a month, Wellspring provides housing and dinner for men who would otherwise be sleeping on the street through a local non-profit called I-HELP.

Global Bless

We support the Hunts, former members of Wellspring, as they work in France, serving the marginalized through a multicultural church plant and its community center and refugee ministry, discipling others, teaching language classes, providing medical advocacy, and more.

If you would like more information, please contact us directly.

Missions are one of the many ways that Wellspring Church shares the love of Jesus around the world.

We support the Strutner Family, currently on medical missions in Kenya, providing much-needed medical aid and training for the next generation of doctors in Kenya.

You can sign up for their newsletter, read their latest blog posts, and sign up to give all from their website.
